I don t know who s running Gaydar these days but one thing s for sure it s not even close to how good the old site was about 15 years ago Gaydar used to be the facebook for gay men back in the day It was a bustling community with a vast array of chat rooms to suit all tastes Men chatted with each other and some of us have even become life long friends Now it s the same old profiles and no activity if you can log on which I cannot It s rather pathetic No wonder Grindr has taken over     Arwel O'Neill

I can not get anyone to contact me so I can remove my profile I ve forgotten my password The app is very hard to navigate and not very efficient Difficult to see who s sent you a message Hard to filter out unwanted profiles Could do so much better         Jon Salisbury

it s hard work offers even as a free site so little compared to others its clunky and not easy to use it once was top of its game now well down the rating scale         Collon House

Slow as hell limited user experience because of paywalls gaydar is dead hardly any active users as a result of not keeping up with the times and sticking to their outdated pricing vs experience very limited features that makes it not worthwhile using unless you pay Always shows a red circle as if you have notifications but there are none Even when you do get a wink or a message you don t get a notification and the red circle doesn t change or show a number of how many notifications Browsing profiles is a pain the first page loads as default but when you scroll down for more and it starts to load it freezes and you have to force close the app     A Google user

I thought this was the old gaydar that was online from many years ago Maybe it is My Problem is thst after going through all the required set up permissions u0026 allowing access to all kinds of things being required to upload a file etc there was ABSOLUTELY No One that would come up in the Searches Tried every option drom Nearby Online Only and Map Selected Search Not ONE Profile came up except for my own What a BUMMER that Was So Disappointing I was excited to use what was once Gr8     JT Wood

No messages and no nothing seems a pretty pointless app what s the point of such an app if messages are non existent 10 12 18 this app no longer works but despite the updates 23 12 18 this app still isn t working I think it s time for a complete redesign creators should start from scratch evidently the updates aren t working     A Google user

Fixed now going thru Website tho surley should be able to use the App and keep my original password but cant Having no messages coming through on the App Support asked if they could go into my account using a new password I reluctantly did this as its an invasion of my privacy but if its going to help sort out the app problems told me i could put a new password in when they have sorted the problem now I cant renew my password not happy VIP MEMBER             A Google user

Messages have disappeared since the latest upgrade all of my chat has gone Got an indicator when I open the app saying I have a new message or wink but nothing on the next screen to say which is new and no chat messages are visible at all get this app fixed will you         Jeff Nicholson

why when filling in your date of birth does it make you go through the calendar week by week from this current week in 2019 all the way back until your date of birth which is decades ago that is painstaking and pointless if you have to be 18 to use the app then why start the date of birth from today s date has someone just come out the womb straight onto dating app no I don t think so literally the second I seen that I d have to go through week by week back to the 90s I instantly deleted the app     Michael Barber

This was an historical internet based program that worked very well Unfortunately the app is now very slow and messages sent are received after a long time Very difficult to navigate in the app Explains why other dating apps are doing better in South Africa or maybe it s no longer a target market Sad     Avi Chetty

I was just going through some of my pictures that I use to had on gaydar and thought let me see if I can get it download the new gaydar app and to my surprise I got it up and running again found some of my old messages and hopefully I can get in touch with the some of my old friends Thanks gaydar well done for making my day                     Audie Branch
