Love being able to watch every game Works flawlessly as long as I don t try casting to Chromecast Constant buffering if I do that It s fine though because I can just use either the Roku app or the Xbox app if I want to watch on my TV The stupid NFL app won t even rotate to landscape on tablets Now THAT is a broken app 300 400 for a 16 game season and they literally can t even get the app to rotate With MLB I get a lot more games for way cheaper and I can actually watch them I love MLB                 Sean Reeves

I have had nothing but problems the entire year It shuts off in the middle of a game over and over again audio wise I have a subscription to the radio only and I constantly have to restart the audio I had no problems last year or the years before but this year it has been nothing but an ordeal Something is up with this app and obviously it is not been corrected I have uninstalled and re installed 8 times on a Samsung Note9 and it doesn t make a difference     Steven Bliss

After being a customer for two seasons I was told out of the blue I had no account I had set it so that it would remember my name and password I pushed forgot password It recognized my email sent me a code and when I got ready to change the password it would not let me without my current password I will not write what I would like to write because I am furious All I can say is this is totally ridiculous Update They have reached out and it appears we are back on line again                 Russ Burroughs

Restarted phone yesterday Today widget is stuck on 7th inning of last nights blue Jay s game Still not working Has not changed all summer Worked for about a week then froze again Stuck on April 18th The widget is not updating daily or even as scores change The only way I can make it change the date is to uninstall and reinstall and then it is only good for that day             A Google user

I enjoy this app I purchased the audio portion earlier this year and it works great Sometimes the game audio is lower than music apps but overall a good service I enjoy the game updates and Gameday It s great to have all of the games scores stats and standings in one app I attempted to purchase MLB TV through Google Play on my app I had some difficulty I made my purchase but the app then said Unexpected Error occurred I was not able to restore my purchase and I could not see my subscription through my linked account on the MLB website I ended up calling Google and having it refunded                 David Wright

Good luck trying to cast to your tv Playback is always fine on my tiny phone or computer screen But it can barely get 15 consecutive seconds of playback without buffering when I cast And if youre wondering about the customer service just look at responses below All you ll get is told to delete and reinstall Thanks for the help s Update Now i get logged out almost every time i close the app despite selecting to remain logged in This app is a great example of why monopolies are bad         Kevin L

Unbelievable even the free game of the day is blacked out in my market What is up with this ZERO STARS SERIOUSLY Here is the best advice for all of you uninstall the app cancel subscription it will save you all the trouble So Frustrating all the games I want to watch are blacked out come on guys if I pay for the app I should be able to watch I have been looking through other posts and the replies are as bad as the cable company Reboot uninstall reinstall it does not help     Jay Newens

Live video streaming is absolutely horrible during games It stutters every 10 seconds or so Except for commercials Those stream just fine So if you love commercials and especially watching the same commercials over and over and over again this could be the app for you But if you like to watch baseball games try a different app Oh wait There is no other app Thanks MLB Radio streams are usually fine But not always Basically this app sucks         Kyle Jackson

I had decided I could live with the pop up telling me the app requires access to my location every time it opens although it clearly doesn t even though it is really annoying However now that the live pitch location is gone it really reduces the utility of the app for me particularly when I am at games live The pitch location tracking is among the top 3 uses of the app for me please fix     Angela Frozena

The app suddenly stopped casting yesterday after working for several years An inquiry to the help section gave me a stock reply which was completely useless Update turns out this is Google Fiber internet s fault Their use of a dynamic IP causes the MLB app to be unsure of my location thereby causing blackout messages when watching out of market games                     Justin Dunham

When it works correctly I love it The problem is this need to login and logout bug that hasn t been fixed yet EDIT Now I ve run into a scenario where the app doesn t recognize that I ve made a Google Play purchase on file It s incredible I ve changed nothing in my phone or my account         Ryan Stroh

As I have reported to MLB Support on Twitter multiple times the app is broken this season Any time I try and listen to a game the only reason to have the app I receive an error message The only solve is to uninstall and then install again Please figure out what is wrong and make the fix This is sub par for a paid user experience and is surprising given the digital power at MLB EDIT right around the All Star break this problem was fixed I have adjusted my rating accordingly                 Josh Camhi

Overall good app for the most part although there are some issues The scoreboard widget freezes and only refreshes if I open the app When reading an article it continually refreshes back to the top of the page after a couple mintues Very annoying It s been this way for several years Positives Gameday is awesome Regularly follow games when I can t watch live with good video highlights as well Audio broadcast usually works well if you have a strong data wifi connection                 David Humphrey

About my worst experience so far with mlb at bat mlb tv I ve used this service for many years now and this year has been terrible I continue to have issues with video playback app not responding etc I have the paid version as I spend over 100yr for this service Called customer care and was transferred to customer support where the phone rang for 15 minutes before being hung up on I have the same devices as least season and just don t understand why there is so many problems Save your         Nicholas Miller

One of the few apps I actually wanted to buy a subscription for unfortunately radio playback didn t work so I cancelled my trial also the pitch box recently stopped showing which is really frustrating I ve tried uninstalling reinstalling to no avail It s maddening that an organization as rich as MLB can t maintain a functioning app very frustrated so much potential but buggy buggy buggy figure it out MLB         Cleveland Wilson

Loved this app and have purchased the mlb tv package for going on five years Recently moved to Arkansas and find out that I m blacked out of 4 teams This is beyond ridiculous 4 teams My only options are teams in different time zones Won t be buying next year         Josh Stacy

Generally good but full of little bugs The one that is currently driving me crazy is the fact that the app gives an alert sound same as my system alerts whether the audio stream starts The replay options on the Android version are also poor compared to one in Roku or Windows             Jason Wolf

Constantly experiences buffering issues when casting to chromecast to the point where it is almost impossible to watch a game I have submitted several tickets across multiple seasons and it never gets better Additionally the app will randomly lock me out of my account and the radio is often spotty Only download this and pay for the subscription because you love baseball and there s literally no other way to watch your team     Andrew Mederos

The recap highlight videos are hidden deep in each game rather than accessible from the scoreboard page or one central place Also MLB fired the voiceover guys for the recap videos and now just show plays or clips from the broadcast which doesn t set up the highlights as well but I guess saves them a few bucks despite being a trillion dollar business         Jared Ciocco

Unreliable Asking a customer that you need a paid mlb TV subscription which I have and saying if you have questions goto the faqs is not good customer support I have used the mlb app in the past but this feels like punishing th paying customer with drm corrected I was using the app incorrectly and the intuitive way to watch games doesn t work because I am a single team subscriber Changed review stars but did not give 5 because interface is not intuitive                 Ken Schmiesing

App has been great Good insight Then one random day after purchasing the full season the pitch zone and pitch by pitch on the live tab stopped showing After reaching out to support I was told an update to Chrome caused the problem Instead of fixing on their side I was told to uninstall the Chrome update YES PLEASE LET ME UNINSTALL THE UPDATE THAT HELPS 90 OF MY DAY rather than wait until you fix this issue All set         Rob Trayah

app used to be great however updates this year it is now bulky and slow to load casting is great for the first half of the game then the pic stalls on and off for the rest of the game contacted the help center over ten times and that point to my devices wich is not true because all my other casting devices work great with other apps on multiple casts at the same time i have also been at several friends houses and have the same issue there the help desk is not in this country and is useles     dcsteve56

Basic version works ok but if you try the audio feed upgrade you probably get nothing for your 20 I subscribed and never got the audio When I tried to deal with customer service I was disconnected This happened more than once     Donald Kohler

I got logged out often and at least once a week I have to delete the app reinstall it and re login Also I am not a fan of the flashbacks What Braves s fan or any fan wants to watch three or four highlights of Phillies Harper and Nationals every couple of innings It d be nice to see a little more balance with the highlights if your going to use them             Joey Kellett

I have relied on this app the last few years for the radio broadcast of my Cleveland Indians games but this year it has been riddled with errors I shouldn t have to log out and back in for every game to be able to listen to the game between this and the blackouts for local games I have cancelled my subscription indefinitely     Nathan Lundgren

WEAK FUNCTIONALITY FOR BROADCASTS Unlike using the MLB app on a PlayStation or Xbox the functionality for watching games and or listening to the radio broadcasts is terrible If the game is live you cannot choose to watch or listen from the beginning of 1st inning you can only join live Unlike watching listening on videogame platforms or via the MLB tv website you are unable to navigate between innings A play or stop button for the live broadcast are the only options Pathetic         Jeff Baker
